Avoid the sun
90% percent of skin signs are due to the sun. Dermatologists recommend applying sunscreen when going out. Wearing sunscreen will protect you from skin cancer and help control wrinkles at the same time.
Do not smoke
Smoking does no good to any one. It causes many health problems, such as respiratory disease, and cardiac diseases. Moreover, it also causes skin wrinkles. It constrict the blood vessels in the skin which over time damage the collagen and elastic fibers. Consequently the skin gets more wrinkles.
Not sleeping enough increases cortisol, a hormone which breaks down skin cells. Increase in cortisol causes more insulin release. Insulin causes inflammation of all the the body including the skin. Get six to eight hours of sleep per night.
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Antioxidants in the fruits and vegetables fight damage caused by free radicals (unstable molecules that can damage cells) and helps skin look younger. Furthermore, antioxidants protect some effects of photoaging.
Avoid any products that are not gently to skin. Irritation causes dryness and damage. Select suitable moisturizer.
Get fresh air
Pollutants can damage your skin. Scientists have proved that fresh air can help you look younger than those who live in busy cities.
